How to Create a Facebook Custom Audience with Video Ads
Video is all the rage on Facebook these days …
If you haven’t tapped into it – I suggest you do – and stat!
Using video ads with a direct CTA (call-to-action) can be tough … and isn’t always as cost-effective as a standard text ad.
So please try both before reaching any conclusions.
If you do come to find that your cost-per-lead is higher on video ads – don’t rule it out just yet!
Here are some other ways you can use video ads on Facebook!
Create a New Custom Audience
If you’re anything like most of my clients, you probably already know that your “Lookalike Audiences” are your best converting ads on Facebook. It’s scary how “right” Facebook gets this target.
And that’s great that the Lookalike Audiences are working … but maybe it’s hard for you to scale beyond that.
Another issue clients are always coming to me with!
Here’s what to do:
Set up a Facebook Video Ad – and use it to “warm up” your leads.
Provide great, engaging, quality content for your business or service. And then set up a new custom audience based on Engagement.
You can target people who watched 10 seconds or longer of your video for example. Then set up an ad for your product/service to that “engaged audience.” Some people call this the boomerang approach.
And it works much better than sending an ad to cold traffic … so give it a shot!
